Residents like Erin Hayes' and Debbie Dye of Holladay had a close call on losing the people closes to them, joined the Support Organization For Trisomy 18, 13 and Related Disorders (SOFT) to decorate and donate a tree to the Festival of Trees.
The festival was begin 36 years ago by the hospital's Women's Endowment Committee. who put up and decorated 60 trees and had over $47,000 was raised. Last year, the numbers swelled to 700 donated trees and nearly $1.5 million.
